Lake Krakow
The health resort Krakow am See is located on the shores of a lake of the
same name. It is approximately 16 km wide and 11 km long. It measures 27m at its
deepest point. The L-shaped lake has many inlets, and a bounty of 22 islands and
peninsulas. All told, there are 15 lakes which blend harmoniously with the
heavily wooded vacation sites.
Water Quality
Water quality at the bathing sites Wadehaeng and Serrahn
is very high and shows no signs of pollution. The same is true at our camping
facilities. To ensure continued high quality we test the water every two weeks. |
