Horseback riding / Carriage Rides
To enjoy the beautiful scenery around Lake Krakow on horseback or in a
carriage is one of the best ways to commune with nature in our region. For
anyone who wants to get away from the every day humdrum and relax Lake Krakow
offers many possibilities from horseback riding and riding lessons for
beginners, to carriage rides through the beautiful surroundings.
Fortuna-Parcourse: Start at Joernberg with 20 different stations
Trimm-Dich Parcourse: Start at Buchenberg with 17 different stations. Each
station has signs identifying the exercise to be done.
Golf / Tennis
Serrahn has a 9 hole (par 62) golf course waiting for the experienced golfer.
The local golf
and tennis club offers flat rates for beginners and experienced golfers.
The two tenniscourts are open year-round and one may take lessons at any
time.
Hunting
Krakow am See is surrounded by large woods and many lakes with all sorts of
wildlife. In the south it borders on the Nature Park Nossentiner/Schwinzer
Heide, which has enclosed woods of 36,000 hectare. You will find in all other
directions more enclosed woods from several hundred to thousands of hectares in
size.
The game wardens of our wildlife have worked hard to ensure a plentitude of
deer for hunting. Hunters participate in the various annual hunts. For
